Amazing, the person is working for an organization that does things in secret, that may or may not be in compliance with the spirit or intent of the law, and expects the organization to act with integrity. The very nature of the organization lacks integrity or fosters an attitude of trust. Seems like anyone that ran a blog on the organizations system must be a bit foolhardy to start with. Why would they expect the organization to tolerate anything that was in opposition to their role in this world? I have to believe there is more to this than just this single post. Sounds like it was a good excuse to do away with the blog altogether. I think it is a poor excuse to fire the person though, given the tolerance of the blog operation to start with. I have to give credit to the operator for having the fortitude to do the blog in the first place. I hope there was not too much time as a federal employee lost and that the individual is able to move on into something better.
