Need secure ID
Anybody notice that we could use some form of secure identification? Nothing I've seen out there in use today comes even close to being secure.

Social Security number as identification is a joke. You practically have to give your SSN to Wal-Mart to do anything. Everybody and their brother has access to your SSN (I just bought a house, and must have put my SSN on 20 different pieces of paper, filed with eight different companies. Is any of that "secure"?)

Sure, banks use passwords, but if you claim to have forgotten yours, many have an insecure backup system to issue you a new one.

Is it even possible to have a secure ID?
