A hacker's dream
Avoiding any type of paper based back up would be a wonderful
opportunity for a programmer that wanted to add a bit of
software that will ensure his preferred candidates win an election.

We are still in the beta stage of electronic voting and I would hate
to guess how many politicians are in office thanks to friendly
programmers.

The easiest way to evaluate the current standard is how
comfortable you would be if your bank didn't have paper based
safeguards in place to correct any errors on your bank account.
