That 'blah blah blah' commentary applies to every emerging technology. Whenever somebody wants to make money off of a new trend, they talk it up until they're blue in the face. (Example: How many words about 'pen computing' were floated not too long ago?) At the end of the day, though, the ideas that stick around (and make some dough) are the ones people actually want and/or need - no amount of talking can make a technology survive if real people don't buy it.
