Security will be used as the excuse for exploitation and monetization of the global network by a handful of key players. This will be accomplished through a multi-pronged approach of "trusted hardware" which only runs "authorized software" and bespoke legislation criminalizing the use of "un-trusted hardware" or "illicit software".
