A discussion of computer hardware...
... that doesn't mention Intel? There's a reason it's called "wintel".

I'll assert that Microsoft is responding to what the computer hardware will be making available. If the hardware were functioning differently, the software would also be different.

And I trust anyone considering a mention of AMD will realize that a newer, smaller company has to compete on the basis of better, cheaper rather than completely different.
