iPhone sales disappoint

Doesn't change my analysis in the least. The iPhone is a great form factor and device, irrespective of whether it attracts the number of customers analysts expect it should. That will inform future designs, which is as it should be (and I'm sure part of the problem is the cost of an iPhone).
