The colour of suffering...
Thoughts, I've got very few - the French Free Culture movement rarely effects me - except to make albums more difficult to buy for the KPK. Good take on the French decision, John C. Though I really have never understood the French legal system; I do remember that it's not precedent bound. That this decision by the court bind neither other courts, nor the legislative bodies to counter-action. I'm not certain that anything will move politically unless the musician's union makes noises.

Aside: Bile, for the medically minded, is a slickish, bitter-tasting and yellowish-green in colour. I've had enough surgically removed in the last year to know the odour of ichor and that I'd be surprised if it could be made into an ink.

That said: You might remember this fact, Anton? It's on the edge of my mind: but wasn't yellow bile (one of the four humours) used as an ink in so called "heroic laches" - documentation of a families' battlefield courage? That the liver drained of melancholia left one with courage? Or was that blood and the heart?

To sleep with me.
