Why would you waste the resources on an online game. That is for the game makers to resolve.
That is a good question about true virtual reality. I would say no since it isn't physical. Hopefully, there would be someway to turn off the pain sensors. Imagine a VR base jump off the Empire State Building with no parachute
By the way, how did you like the Tad Williams series? I am not sure I get your ABBA reference
