You know this is not really surprising. Verizon Wireless tends to cripple the device and control it to such a degree that it interferes with regular operation, and that is quite sad. I thought this was only restricted to the "consumer" grade phones, but i see they have extended this "approach" to the "business" grade (smart-phones) phones.
