I actually wanted one
I am disappointed that they didn't get the feedback they wanted for the project to continue. I would have more than likely purchased one.

I wanted to set it up similar to the Nokia's NSeries of devices. Though I know this wouldn't have been an easy task, I could use a $500 dollar portable media player with longer than average battery life. Who wouldn't want one?

I do think it would be great if the Foleo was more than just a companion to Treos. Make it a companion to all smart phones and watch Bill Gates Squirm as he didn't think of it first.

A laptop is heavy and has a short battery life. And with current batteries exploding, I don't see the life of batteries getting much longer without hassle.

A laptop is also slow to boot. The Foleo was almost instant on.

I know dozens of times where I wanted to look up a document to show someone else and I couldn't get the computer up in time. I swear where 45 seconds seems like hours when a group of people are waiting.

For every key point that some one could have argued against the Foleo, I think I could have countered with a reason to own one.

I think killing the project was a bad decision and I hope that they change their mind.
