SVCHOST.EXE can be used by any application you install to run a dll based service. To see specifically which application is running under the process in question, go to a command prompt and type the following:
tasklist -svc

The services column should list the name of the application running under that instance of svchost.exe.

Incidentally, I don't know if you remember or not, but this is the exact issue I was talking about when we had the inbound/outbound firewall discussion a few months ago.
