Are you sure you're the only one with access to that password you 'recovered'? Think again.

Depends on the what the password is for: Take this site. It's not the end of the world if I lose my password to a schmuck. They will post under my user name and that's a pain but hardly anything to panic over.

Now I have a log in for tax info. They won't send you a email with your password in it. You have to wait 2 weeks for them to mail you a new cryptic 10+ character password.
