Purely centralized processing
is not the way to go. The final solution will be a hybrid approach. Even the largest datacenter(s) will be crippled under a particular dynamic load.

It's just like a freeway, if everyone gets on the road at the same time then you will get nowhere fast, and everyone will be frustrated.
