I was on the ZDNet Linux security subscription list for a long time. Every time I attempted to unsubscribe (dull topic), I would receive a note like:

We're sorry. Our system has collapsed and we are unable to respond to your request. Please try again when we have our act together.

I finally was able to escape.



By the way, the pornographic newsletter spam succeeded. You validated your address by unsubscribing. Validated addresses are worth money in the aggregate.
