- Ten percent of the WORLD's population?
- That's pretty amazing...if true. This statistic sounds a little far fetched, although I can't back it up with statistics. It's just that there are MANY places in the world that don't have indoor plumbing or even electricity, much less access to the machinery (credit cards, bank accounts, reliable mail service to deliver purchased goods, or credit worthiness sufficient to enable an online sale). I could be wrong on this, since I do know students in Alaska who don't have indoor plumbing in their cabins, yet have high speed access to the Internet, so maybe I'm underestimating my fellow world citizens.
