And it seems that my Linux system is running Internet Explorer, and my system is infected with spyware.

Of course in the normal course of events only MS Windows users would be looking for releif from malware, and would be enticed to go to such a site. The fact is that while there is legitimate software for removing protecting against malware, it's the poor security of the Microsoft Operating systems that make sit possible in the first place.

It is precisely because one must take heroic steps to keep one's Microsoft System free from malware that I gave up on MS Windows, and went to Linux.

At least on Linux, if you are a computer newbie, and don't know much about computer security, you are safe from such malware. And it is only when one becomes more computer literate that one becomes capable of putting one's system in danger.

On a Microsoft Operating system you have to know a great deal about malware and computer security in order to protect yourself, and if you are a computer newbie you don't have that knowledge, and so you are not in a position to protect your computer.
