Finally!
Hooray! Finally somebody has realized that what these companies do is despicable. Personally, I think it should be a crime. Think about it. I consider my computer screen to be my personal property. If I go to someone's website, I expect ads because their website is their personal property and they can host ads if they want to. However, to have pop-up ads appear on my computer when I don't even have a browser open infringes on my personal property. I consider it the same thing as someone putting up a billboard in my front lawn without my permission. Which if I caught someone doing, they would get shot for trespassing. happy
