The large business users are agnostic ...
they will buy whatever works. The SCO lawsuit produced a bit of a scare for a while, but now as that drags on with no resolution in sight, very few large enterprises seem to care. So they buy whatever best fits their perceived needs, whether that be closed source for MS or Adobe, or open source from Red Hat or IBM. In either case, "buy" is a fitting term because most tracked "free" software on the corporate level is provided as part of some sort of commercial service agreement. As for stand alone free open source software, who knows how much of it is out there now? And who can even remotely predict how much of it will be out there replacing commercial software in the future?
