Please, Marx is dead! Leave him buried!
Why must feel-good Marxism be so accepted? Look, if provider X blocks or slows down a site I like, I will not use that provider. If a provider gets a reputation for that, I would probably not ever use that provider (unless they block something I don't want in my home, like porn or something similar).

Why does the government want to get involved in this. New wireless spectrums will be coming on line for consumers, there is a strong competition for consumers starting to build. The integration of internet, phone and video is like a giant wave that is starting to form. And you want the government to get involved.

Why don't you start a company, lay thousands of miles of fiber and then let others use it for free, so that they can sell internet service for less than you, because you have all of the infrastructure cost. That concept is idiotic, if the government forces them to share for free, then they will stop building. If consumers demand it as part of the value of the internet, then they will build more.

Did you fall asleep during econ 101? Or maybe you went to a UC like me, where they are still in shock about the fall of communism.
