Yes, we need a new govt altogether
One that has very limited powers so that business has nothing to gain by lobbying for legislation.

In this case, I'm not sure the telco's are at fault, they are just "doing as they are told" by govt. Of course the lawyers know that they'll never win against the govt, so they sue the corporations.

No CEO has the guts to tell his customers what the govt wants to do for fear of being labelled "unpatriotic". Likewise CEO's need to stay on the good side of govt or else they'll find themselves the subject of anti-trust or other violations.

Isnt Fascism great! Er, I mean Democracy.
