I have ATT Worldnet. I am no great fan of AT&T, but I have to say the VOIP has been 100% perfection for a year and a half now.

The voice quality is outstanding. Literally at least as good as copper.

When I changed from my previous carrier (so bad, I can't even remember the name - I must have blocked them out), I looked at Vonage. What turned me off were some draconian statements in their terms of service, and they lost out because of it.
