"Read My Lips:" No New Regulation ...
While unfortunate for the 200,000_+ Subs that were affected by this...HOWEVER, as the article points out, everyone has cell phones and would not be completely left in the dark. The only thing I would like to see in the VoIP world is maybe having a stipulation that the provider cannot just "flip the switch" without due notification (IE. 30 days) and LOTS of user education. VoIP isnt landline service and is subject to power outages and everything else...so how is this any different?
