How times have changed
Sprint was once the darling of Wall Street. All the bigshots said invest your money with them as they are the wireless company of the future.

Those of us working for competing wireless companies wondered what it was that Sprint was doing differently. Sure they built a network from the ground up, but that only meant that they were years behind others in the coverage of their network.

What happened to all the innovative services they were to provide? That PTT service is like a 1940's walkie talkie!

As for WiMax being the future, that seems unlikely. All carriers are having a hard time selling customers their high speed data services. But these customers are also going to want voice service and if you can't provide that, you are doomed.

Bye Bye Sprint!
