Great idea BUT

keep in mind not everyone wants to use their PC to watch movies. Not everyone is connected to high speed internet so this will be an issue. Netflix won't die, they will lose market share, but not die. There are too many people that are "old fashioned" and want the physical media to watch on the DVD player they bought for that purpose.

It will take the death of dial-up (which still hasn't happened) as well as the 100% proliferation of high speed for streaming as well as the hardware to get it to peoples TV's before this becomes any kind of killer. Until the infrastructure is there and homes are better equipped this is nothing more than a cool thing for the few that have the $$$ for such a system.
