Boy, you can sure tell that Bill's on the autistic spectrum. Apparently his "vision" is to have the rest of us adopt that, too.

You start at your home in the morning, watch the news, see your kids? drawings and track your family members? locations all on one big screen.

Now, I'm old-fashioned. I greatly prefer to start in the morning by hugging people, not electronics. I don't need to track my children on a big screen, because they're in the same freaking room with me! I certainly don't need to see my kids' drawings on a "big screen" because they're right there, in the house in glorious Crayola, and I'm there to actually talk to them, hug them, and tell them how much I like what they've done.

If anyone wants to know where Bill's "vision" would take us, have a look at Isaac Asimov's The Caves of Steel and the way the Sirians live. I'll pass, thanks.
