It would be nice if....
someone could give an actual in place, concrete, working example of SOA. The only thing you ever hear is that so and so is implementing. No one can give an example and then describe how it is actually different from services already being provided by a server being consumed by a client.

This article is just more of the same pie in the sky spouting about something that no one can agree on or actually give an example of some implementation. And the 5 naysayer "myths" even full of BS Gartner can't dispel. It definitely looks like the naysayers won this round.

And last but not least, Gartner is such a joke. The fact that you have to go to them for any information shows me you are grasping at straws.

SOA isn't dead... it simply never existed.
