How does this compare to other adoptions?
Are the numbers from this survey similar to other surveys that measured the adoption of other approaches? Is 2 out of 5 bad? Or par for the course? And what conclusions are to be drawn from knowing these results? SOA is good but only if you measure?

Is the measurement about the effectiveness of SO or is it more a measure of the resulting system? Can the success be attributed to SO principles or to the fact that a new system was created or an existing system rebuilt? In other words, how often can improvement be attributed to the simple act of redoing the system, regardless of the style in which the redo was done?

Did anyone else note a familiarity with the list of typical benefits from pursuing SOA?
