WOA vs. ROA vs. SOA
Realistically, people have been using using RESTful services as part of SOA initiatives even if they didn't realize it for a few years already.

You could even make the argument that Resource Oriented Architecture is going to subsume SOA, but realistically the WOA and ROA stuff (sounds like Dr. Seuss) are really more implementation oriented than SOA.

Mostly, WOA is easier to consume which is why I think people are gravitating toward it. I am pretty sure everyone is over-thinking this.
