EA should be a good BA?
Why do we assume that an EA wouldn't have BA skills? An EA is responsible fo mapping business needs onto technology so an EA best have some BA skills.

"...qualified people that not only are tech savvy, but can interface comfortably with the business."

We need to stop thinking that tech folks are not part of the business. They are as much responsible for the business as anyone, the focus is just different.
