SOA needs an ESB and Messaging
Joe -

Thank you for your insights on Open Source SOA. I agree, and projects like Apache and Linux demonstrate, that mission-critical infrastructure is an excellent fit for the benefits of the Open Source model. There are other important technology components necessary to support an SOA business/technology intiative. We have a comprehensive suite of open source for SOA - see http://BusinessIntegrationTechnology.com/BITOpenSourceArchitecture.html. We will be using this stack to integrate our open source enterprise messaging engine that also will enable enterprises to extend their business processes to suppliers, customers, and service providers.
