- Tells it like it is.
- The Achilles heel of both HP and Compaq was the blind reliance on Intel. HP (and Intel for that matter) put billions into Itanic with nothing to show for it. Intel could take it, because they still make monopoly-money profits on the x86 chips. HP has taken it so far, because of the monopoly-money profits from printers. But they are being bitten from too many directions: PCs, servers, SANs, services, you name it. HP can't take another disaster like Itanic.
