Long ago...
...people gave up any semblance of being able to separate the message from the messenger. We saw it with the anti-Bush tirades, we see it now with the anti-Obama (and the anti-anti-Obama) tirades, as we see it in the anti-Microsoft tirades. Microsoft could announce that the sun was going to rise in the east tomorrow, and someone would object just because it's Microsoft saying it (and probably claim it was an "M$" plot against FOSS somehow).

So to answer your title question: for certain people, yes.
