The problem with this is vendor lock-in
Yea, sure you get vendor lock-in anyway with Microsoft, Oracle, whatever...right? But this is alot more vertical. With Google, everything is in the cloud, which they host. Your custom applications will have be written in a way that they can only be hosted from Google. So your software, your hardware, your network...one stop shop. Kinda scary.
