- Why use ANY toolbar?

All browsers have a Google (or whatever you want it to be) search box AND pop-up/ad blocking capabilities. Why would you even bother with installing a 3rd party toolbar when it is well-known in computer support/repair circles that they cause more problems to the end user than good?
