The relationship is to Intel's benefit
Intel are swimming upstream against a white water rapids of ARM, ARM, ARM baby.

Nokia have the product experience and 'channel' into which they can introduce a 'Smartbook'.

The press release suggests that Intel gain access Nokia's modem technology--not much else.

If Intel have 'mask' rights to ARM, which I don't believe they do, then they have a great partnership with Nokia.

I don't think Intel can come up with anything that will be competitive with the current state of the art ARM technology.

So, I see Nokia running their own Railroad and Intel tagging along for a ride for the time being.
