Bye Bye Pentaho

I have been moving our data integration from Pentaho to Talend (the department may look at Jaspersoft for BI). The folk over at Pentaho seem to be in another world or something. I'm not going to say I got deep into their community but I'd sometimes find myself looking for a feature and then finding that others have requested it only to have the devs tell them its overrated or give some crazy work around. So aligning themselves with a scandalous company seems to follow their in the clouds type of mindset.
