I guess this means that cisco doesnt employ strict version control and monitor what goes into their products?

I guess that would mean they make good products but dont actually know whats in them and therefore could be opening up companies that buy their goods to possible hazards.

Thats quite a statement and should be fair warning to potential buyers.
