Huh...does anyone still think that LiMo has a viable future anymore?
But the point stands that we definitely will be dealing with massive device OS diversity (aka fragmentation) for some time to come. The mobile open source victory is in tools and platforms for mobile developers (such as Funambol's email/PIM solution and our Rhodes mobile app development framework) to handle such diversity.
