JBOSS? JBOSS?

Wasn't that the company purchased by Red Hat?

The one whose founder requested that its new corporate parent supply more paid labor to improve the product?

Whose request was turned down because Red Hat refused to spend the money? And told him to flog the unpaid community harder to avoid the expense?

Why yes, I think it was.

Open source is very good for companies who can hire fewer people and so avoid contributing to the support of families and the advancement of careers.
