... and IBM's core competencies. For startup businesses and those expanding but trying to reduce costs through a centralized model IBM's offerings could be just the right combination for increased productivity and a reduction of overheard. It all depends on the target company's current and future needs.

Of course the additional competition makes the landscape more cost effect all by itself so even if the program is a moderate success it still achieves downward pricing pressure in the marketplace, which is a win for the end business consumer. grin
