You kind of gloss over a lot of topics here but I would like to point out that Richard Stallman's free software license, the GPL, is entirely dependent on copyright law to work.

Also, open source is not anti-copyright and there is nothing extreme about open source. They do not advocate breaking the law, they are trying to encourage collaboration while working within the current laws.

The tone of this article (extremism, zealotry) is far from impartial. It appears you are just trying to drum up controversy and are not really interested in hearing anyone's opinion if it differs from your own.
