Stallman and 'extremists'
Richard Stallman has a clear, logically consistent position. He has never advocated violence, theft, or any behavior that I consider unethical. He doesn't coerce anyone to use the GPL, he only has the force of his arguments. If you don't like the GPL, don't use it, you have that freedom. ZD Net is also running articles about Microsoft 'nag ware'. Microsoft has chosen a different license. I respect that too. When I use Gnu software, I respect the GPL. When I use Windows software, I respect Microsoft's licenses. Why is there any need to describe either camp as extremist? Live and let live.
