LogMeIn is EXCELLENT
It is a GREAT service. I leave my primary work machine running 24/7, and no matter where I am, I turn on my MAC laptop and access my work Windows machine and do what I have to do.

And it is also great for remote server work too! Because of so much hacking done with the standard Windows Remote Control stuff, I installed LogMeIn on all of the Windows servers I am in control of. So from one master panel, I can log in to and work on any of the Windows servers just like if I was there in the ISP's facilities using a keyboard and monitor on it locally.

They also have LogMeIn RESCUE - an invaluable tool for remote service calls to any PC out there. BUT their price is far too high for the ocassional user of this service. I have instead hooked up with GoTo Assist Express - GoToMyPC's answer to LogMeIn RESCUE.
