Laptop Linux?
What does this have to do with Linux? If you're running "a Netbook with the simplest possible open source stack", what does it matter if it's Linux? It's not like the user would be making any use of the Linux on what is "basically a terminal", so how does this help increase Linux's profile? Seems to me what would be important is the OS on the machine back at the office that you're connecting to.
