Why?
As in why would OXML be the de facto standard, ever. Especially considering that Microsoft are coming out with ODF much much earlier than they are OXML. On that note, I guess doing OXML at all is going to depend on how its issues are addressed by ISO.

Even back in the day, no one would have bought a broken model t ford.
