RE: Martha Stewart's parlor seeks open source writer-flies
Dana,

It???s Veronica and I???m the one who invited you to join Red Room (and yes, that???s my real name!). Red Room Omnimedia is in no way affiliated with Martha Stewart Omnimedia. The company was founded in San Francisco by Ivory Madison, who wanted to create an online home for *all* writers ??? whether they be journalists, book authors, columnists, screenwriters, etc. whether they are established, up-and-coming, or are attempting to get a foothold in the industry. Many of our writers have a presence on Red Room in addition to other sites ??? in fact, many of our most successful Red Room authors and members utilize cross-marketing to promote their careers. We are inviting reporters and bloggers from around the country to join the community as a way to promote their work and connect with other journalists and literary professionals. Think of it as a MySpace for writers. It???s free, only takes a moment, and there???s no catch. Please also invite any of your colleagues who might be interested ??? they can go to our landing page for journalists at http://www.redroom.com/journalist-invitation.

Thanks for the post,
Veronica
