Net Applications is low.
I have posted this, and need to do an in depth story on this for my own blog, but Net Applications is constantly under estimating FF (and Linux) usage. Most every other source that doesn't rely on a signed up group of partners, puts FF at 30%+ (and Linux at 3-5%). I personally think that, because Europe is close to 40%, that worldwide FF is at least 30%, maybe more. From the Net Applications page...

We use a unique methodology for collecting this data. We collect data from the browsers of site visitors to our exclusive on-demand network of live stats customers.

Email after email asking who the on-demand network or whether it includes Europe, Asia, never a single reply.

People discount W3Schools (I would agree, more technically minded folks do visit it), as biased, but it is more accurate in that any person gets counted, not a select group of opt-in websites.
