Well, it was me, not Mike Schroepfer, and the unnamed developer was actually our QA Lead Tim Riley, but I totally understand that it's hard to hear those things on a call.

Also, the issue affects at *most* 11,000 users, and it's hard to determine to what degree they are affected. Some users who have strange font profiles might crash, but it's pretty unclear. As always, the decision was made based on getting Firefox 3 to a high level of quality where we felt like it was ready for our 175M users. Sadly, RC1 was not felt to be there, so we're taking 10 or 15 changes and making an RC2.
