Ahahahahahahaha
With the success Java has had, how much money has it netted Sun, not revenue, net. I'd guess that they've lost hundreds of millions on it.

OpenOffice an alernative? You're joking right, it's a POS.

Solaris the best general purpose OS??? Um, general purpose for what? Gonna run it on your desktop? Wait, I've figured it out, you're just a moron spouting nonsense, but let's continue.

Sun a leader in open source? Ahahahahahahaha.

Hardware unprofitable, well maybe, but that's where Sun got ALL it's bankroll from. If they didn't have that huge stash of cash from their bloated hardware prices in the 90s, they would have been gone long ago.

Sun software engineers best in the world??? Hardly, I suspect they'd come a distant second on Mars.
